Isn't this a great quotation?

I found it on the "dear_raed.blogspot.com" site, which is a blog maintained by a gay Iraqi architect (I think) during the war, written from his home in Baghdad, but which has since been abandoned. He actually got to write a couple of things for the Guardian because his blog got so famous.
