I figured out another thing I can't yet do in Spanish: give directions for a haircut. There certainly are a lot of measures of one's fluency, I'm finding out. Oh well, it will grow back, right?

I'm going to my school's Polo* final on Friday. Wow, I have a ritzy school. I'm also trying to figure out what films I want to see at the Buenos Aires Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente (BAFICI).

*Of course Argentines play polo. It's another one of the lasting British influences, (a couple of the others being the trains and subways that run on the left and a depressed yet snobby attitude) that distinguish Argentina from its neighbors.
