Also Argentine cinemas show propaganda-style newsreelesque things at the start of the film. Wierd. Maybe someone could give them a call, and you know, tell them about how it's not 1950 anymore and maybe give them some pointers on postmodernism and self-concious irony. Speaking of which, going to a bar is strange here, because they aren't like bars in the US. You don't really go to meet people and just sit at the bar but rather to sit around with the friends you have before you go out to a club. Lame!
Here's more photos, since they seem to be so very popular. None are mine, of course.
CARP! It's that a wonderful name for a fùtbol team? Club atlètico River Plate. Official CARP socks.

Here's the stadium.

Obelisco and Avenida Nueve de Julio from the ground.

The Subte. I live near Facultad de Medicina on Lìnea D. My apartment will be near Pueyrredòn.

The city. Big eh? This just shows the Palermo neighborhood.

You said your apartment will be near Pueyrredòn. Does that mean you're moving with some friends into that cool old building you showed us, or is this the regular housing that the school/ISEP gave you?

Yes...i know matt. He was on my OR trip. He's real nice. The pictures look neat. Have fun! Enjoy the warm weather...its so freaking cold here!
Lena,
The apartment is just a regular apartment that the school owns. I've already paid Hendrix full tuituion inc. housing for this semester so it would be stupid for me to pay for housing again because I'm recieving it through ISEP. Unfortunately, then, the cool old (but falling apart) flat won't work out.
'Becca,
Oh, I am. Believe me. Goin' to the beach this weekend. Of course, keep in mind that this is the climate of Houston, without air conditioning.
Later,
